Peter’s playing is tasteful and profound and characterized by a delicate harmonic sense. With his distinct understanding for rhythmical subtleties Peter is supporting the ensemble and the soloist in a most swinging manner. He has a crucial impact on the overall sound of the music. As a soloist he sets high standards: sensitive single-string phrases, complicated cross-picking, refined right-hand-rolls and breathtakingly fast chord passages have rightly given him his honourable surname: Peter "Banjo" Meyer.
